Remember Debra’s hesitancy to endorse E-Verify as a system that she supports? Once again, Medina has been proven correct. Read the latest NewsMax report on E-Verify. One thing people have come to count on is that Debra does not pull answers out of her hat. This woman knows more about more issues and laws than anyone I have ever seen.
Report: E-Verify Misses Half of Illegal Workers
The system Congress and the Obama administration want employers to use to help curb illegal immigration is failing to catch more than half of the unauthorized workers it checks, a research company has found.
The online tool E-Verify, now used voluntarily by employers, wrongly clears illegal workers about 54 percent of the time, according to Westat, a research company that evaluated the system for the Homeland Security Department. E-Verify missed so many illegal workers mainly because it can’t detect identity fraud, Westat said.
Historical Perspective – Debra Medina absolutely can get in this run-off!
The latest update by the Medina campaign talked a little about the historical 1978 Clements/Hill campaigns and how it can be encouraging to those of us support Medina. I did a little research and these are some interesting facts I came up with which gives me even more encouragement that we can absolutely get in this run-off.
The documentation below covers interesting points in the general election of 1978. Earlier parts of the document cover the primary race so that is a distinction. However the similarities are the discouraging poll results from news and outside pollsters. And although in-house polls were more encouraging there was never one that showed Bill Clements ahead. The other major similarity is the huge turnout in that election and what that meant.
There had been no Republican governor in 105 years yet Clements squeaked in winning by 1 and 1/2 votes per precinct! Incredible isn’t it? One thing that hit me was the last minute attack on Bill Clements – it reminds me of the Beck-Jones nonsense. I also didn’t realize that some of the newspapers actually declared John Hill (the Democrat) as the winner of the Gubernatorial race in 1978. The polls in this race (according to this documentation) seemed to be all over the place and a Krueger poll had Clements behind at 35% to Hill’s 51% on October 28th, just a few days before the election.
If this isn’t enough to give Medina supporters a shot in the arm I don’t know what is. I couldn’t quit reading about that historical race once I started. The message is – keep on going until that last vote is in and we CAN get Debra in the run-off!

It breaks my heart that my fellow Texans are either too lazy or stupid to investigate a controversy and come to a conclusion. But more than that it breaks my heart that Texans have become so conditioned that anyone who doesn’t think “collectively” or in the “mainstream” as pundits like to put it, can be ostracized for their thoughts. What the poll says is that people would rather elect liars and athieves than someone who defends freedom of thought. OK, Texas, for once you have a choice of a real person instead of an arrogant elitist. Are you going to blow it – or break out of the Matrix and put your money where your mouth has been for the last decades and vote for a REAL person? Vote Debra Medina Still on the fence? Here are some more Rick Perry facts that should make you sick at your stomach.

All of a sudden Rick Perry is suing the EPA and has a new commercial supporting the 10th Amendment which keeps the federal government from overreaching into state affairs. Of course they are only questioning the economic impact of the latest EPA laws – not the federal government’s right to impose them. Debra Medina has had these two issues as part of her platform since she began this race.
One thing you will never see Perry quote is the following Supreme Court decision. This is a quote from the website citing the Supreme Court ruling:
Scalia warned, “The federal government may neither, issue directives requiring the States to address particular problems, nor command the States’ officers, or those of their political subdivisions, to administer or enforce a federal regulatory program. Such commands are fundamentally incompatible with our constitutional system of dual sovereignty.”
