Don’t mess with Texas farm girls or you’re gonna have a fight….

Texas Farm Girls

By Penny Langford Longfellow

If you’re feelin like a macho and try to steal our land,
Taking money from our business to send to Uncle Sam;
Or Bailout Wall street tycoons just cuz they lobby loud,
Well podna you just gotta go cuz you ain’t done us proud.

The patriots in Texas have had about enough,
Of a New York City pundit talkin like he’s tough;
Cuz we know he’s bought and paid for by the ole boy with good hair,
Real Texans don’t have others fight their battles, that ain’t square.

We decided down in Texas where we fought the Alamo,
We whipped big government once and now again it’s gotta go.
The deck was stacked against us with so much money it’s uncouth,
We Texans stockpile ammo it called justice and the truth.

Margie in Columbus had the idea that we’d chose,
A woman with guts and brains enough resolve to never lose,
Debra took the banner and led the battle cry,
With gun in hand went cross the land and held truth’s flag up high.

Teresa in West Texas gathered troops across the miles,
While Nancy in East Texas won the people with her smiles.
Katie lives in Austin dressed Debra up and made her purdy;
Vanessa manned the office down in Corpus and Valverde.

Dixie down in Schulenburg gathered patriots that she knew,
She and Carol been around and knew just what to do.
Gwen called all the media; she’s cute and has the grit,
Nancy in San Marcos came from Florida to cause some Texas…fit.

Terri left her chickens in the pen to join the fray,
She’d fight for seven kids to have their freedom back one day.
Penny hailed from Angleton on the Gulf of Mexico,
She yearned to make the bureaucrats eat chili made of crow.

They fought for days on end with all their Texas patriot brothers;
The opponents sweating bullets the battle cry went out to others.
Patriots fought from other states to make ole Texas free,
Their eyes are on all Texas from sea to shining sea.

Debra’s arms are tired from holdin up the flag,
She’s been taken bullets but We Texans got her back,
No matter how this battle ends Texas freedom is in our sight
Don’t mess with Texas farm girls or you’re gonna have a fight.
