Media to Texans – “Deja Vu” and Screw You!
Many supporters of Debra Medina for Governor of Texas, supported Dr. Ron Paul in the last Presidential Election. We watched helplessly as the media ignored our candidate, even though he received the highest poll ratings, on the networks own polls. The media was willing to discredit the results of their own polls, rather than validate the following and support that Dr. Paul really had.
Dr. Paul was excluded from the Taxpayers Debate, even though he had been voted “The Taxpayers Best Friend” for years. So his supporters held their own event across the hall, and had three time the participants.
Now we hear about planned events for debates and forums for Perry and Hutchison, but when Debra Medina indicates she will attend, the other candidates have to back out for unexpected reasons and such debates are canceled. We hear of other debates being planned, that try to exclude Mrs. Medina all together.
Again supporters are getting frustrated that our candidate and our message of Freedom is not being allowed to be heard. This time supporters of Debra Medina are getting angry. Whatever happened to the “Fairness Doctrine” Free Speech or even civil rights?
Maybe it is time for the campaign to look into serious legal issues. We know that Debra Medina will fight to protect and defend our Constitution once she is elected, but it looks like we may have to start that battle even before the election. Entrenched politicians and their lobbyist supporters do not want to loose their power to someone who will not “play ball” with them and someone that cares more about being accountable to the voters, than to international corporations and Wall Street cronies.
It may look like “deja vue” but this is a new ball game. The ordinary citizens, those who persuaded Debra Medina to take on this challenge to represent their views and their values, those who attend the Tea Parties and the 9-12 events are all saying “enough is enough!” We will not be ignored and pushed around this time!

I am not a lawyer, but I wonder if all the Debra Medina supporters could not form a class action suit?
I am not sure if this is a Fairness Doctrine issue, a free speech issue or a civil liberties issue, but It certainly seems discriminatory to me. Because of these actions, we cannot get our message out to the public as well. The chance for people to get to see and hear our candidate is lessened. And finally because of this, the chances of our candidate being about to win the election is diminished.
If this is not discrimination I do not know what to call it. If we do not rise up and resist such actions, then it will just keep happening. Now is the time to say enough is enough.
Any suggestions on what We Texans can do to help ensure Debra gets into the debates?
I don’t think people calling make a difference in the least. I believe that Debra is going to have to stand up and fight with the full force of the law behind her if anything is going to be done. I think she plans to shed some light on this subject next week.
