My idea was to…
Put pressure on the Secretary of State’s office to count the governor’s race both electronically and by paper ballot. When I testified before the legislature my reasoning was that once and for all it would put to rest the question of our voting equipment reliability. Of course, if the vote was going to be rigged, it couldn’t be rigged if we counted the votes by a dual system or it would expose the voting machine’s ability to change vote totals. But that is OK. We could get Debra elected and then move toward cleaning up the process.
