The Ellis County Observer Endorses Debra Medina
October 25, 2009 by JoeyGDauben
Michael Williams is our pick for the special U.S. Senate seat that will perhaps be decided in May 2010 (depending on when Kay Bailey Hutchison resigns), but last night, the choice for governor became clear: The Ellis County Observer proudly endorses Debra Medina for Texas Governor.
The Ellis County Observer also strongly urges former Justice of the Peace Sue Schmidt, D-Ennis, to run in Precinct 1 again. The rumors are that she will file for the seat she held for 22 years before losing in 2002 to Bill Woody. Schmidt needs to be my JP again.
The Ellis County Observer is consistently ranked in statewide blog categories, and is typically, routinely and normally in the Top 10 of “Texas’ Most Influential Blogs” and “Texas’ Most Conservative.”
